Ethernet Mediaconverters

Industrial Ethernet media converters are specifically designed devices fo use in industrial environments, that allow connection and signal coversion between different types of ethernet interfaces. These media converters have a robust design and resistant properties to face the harsh conditions of industrial applications.

They enable signal conversion between different media, e.g. from a copper ethernet cable (RJ45) to a fiber cable (SFP) and vice versa. This allows to connect and extend a network to a greater distance using a fiber cable.

They offer various type of interfaces and connectors, to satisfy various types and requirements of networks. That includes RJ45 connectors for copper cables, SFP/SFP+ connectors for fiber cable and other interfaces such as RS-232/422/485 for serial communication.
