Unmanaged Ethernet Switches

Unmanaged ethernet switches are devices designed for easy and reliable connectivity in an industrial environment. These switches provide basic connectivity and data packet switching in networks but they are not capable of advanced management, configuration and monitoring.

They enable basic connectivity for devices in an industrial network. These switches usually offer a various number of ethernet ports, which allow devices to be connected through an ethernet cable.

They are designed to be easily installed and used. These switches usually support plug-and-play, which means that they are automatically recognised and configured after a device is connected.

Unmanaged Ethernet switches are often more affordable compared to managed ethernet switches. That makes them a popular choice for simple industrial applications where a complicated management and monitoring of the network is not necessary.
