Modular I/O Systems

The benefit of modular input-output systems is lower price and easier management when called for a higher number of inputs and outputs because they share a power and communication base, which is expandable with other input and output modules. Similar to the compact I/O modules, modular system bases too can have various types of communication interfaces, such as serial ports, Ethernet, USB, wireless Wi-Fi or ZigBee, mobile networks or industrial buses CAN, PROFIBUS, etc.
