          Communication Converters and Controllers

In order for them to connect to a single network, communication converters and controllers are necessary. They are freely programmable and configurable converters also known as gateways providing various interfaces such as LAN ports, RS232/422/485, CAN, PROFIBUS, etc. The software of these converters performs a protocol conversion, data logging or simple data preprocessing.
